HERE ON THE FLIGHT PATH

WRITTEN BY NORM FOSTER

DIRECTED BY WILMA KELLER

April 2023

Hailed by critics as “a play to make spirits soar" (Hamilton Spectator) and “fall down funny, heart-tuggingly sad and wildly romantic” (Mississauga News), HERE ON THE FLIGHT PATH is a hilarious and heartfelt romantic comedy that follows John over the course of three and half years as he interacts with three neighbors from his apartment balcony: Faye, a practicing member of the world’s oldest profession; Angel, a somewhat naïve aspiring musical theatre performer; and Gwen, a recently divorced homemaker. Sex, love, life and loss are all discussed with big laughs and a few tears in what many describe as Norm Foster’s funniest play ever.

“Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a lively trip. The laughs are nearly non-stop." Simcoe Reformer

SILENT SKY

WRITTEN BY LAUREN GUNDERSON

DIRECTED BY JULIAH RAE

September 2023

“Lauren Gunderson’s luminously beautiful play SILENT SKY is an intellectual epic told on an intimate scale. Bottom line: Heavenly.” — Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Full of wonder, humor, and heart, SILENT SKY is the remarkable true story of Henrietta Leavitt, a pioneering female astronomer in the early 1900s. A decade before women gained the right to vote, Leavitt and her team of female astronomers transformed the science of astronomy. This inspiring, music filled drama explores the determination, passion and sacrifice of the women who forever changed the way we understand both the heavens and Earth.

This production is part of the ETC Roadshow Program which sees our productions touring across multiple venues throughout Central Oregon.

CRAIG FOX HAD A WIFE

WRITTEN BY BEVERLY ALLEN

DIRECTED BY DEBBIE LEVIN

November 2022

Craig Fox Had a Wife is an autobiographical new play by local playwright Beverly Allen. The play recounts the story of how a veteran, a widow and a Vietnamese tour guide found healing decades after the war.

Our production of Craig Fox Had a Wife will be part of our 2022 PTSD Awareness Project, a multi-faceted program intended to promote community understanding of the effects of war on military personnel, families, and communities.

The centerpiece and culmination of this project will be the presentation of Craig Fox Had a Wife on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2022 and run for 8 performances.

Our hope is that through these and other community engagement activities around PTSD, we will not only drive attendance and participation but most importantly a deeper awareness and understanding of the effects of war and the many faces of PTSD.

As time passes, they gradually learn more than just acting... Through a series of touching and often comic exercises, they reveal their true selves through the work and to each other.
