Ellipse Theatre Community is excited to support playwrights in developing new theatrical works! Our New Work Development program provides a space for writers to explore, workshop, and share their plays with a team of artists and engaged audiences.

 

Selected playwrights may have the opportunity to participate in staged readings, workshops, and collaborative development sessions. We welcome submissions from playwrights of all experience levels. Whether your play is in an early draft or a near-final stage, we’re interested in stories that resonate with audiences, inspire collaboration, and align with Ellipse Theatre Community’s mission to create meaningful theatre experiences for our community.

 

How to Submit

All submissions are accepted via our online submission form. Please be prepared to provide:

A completed submission form with playwright and play information

Your script in PDF format
